Movie Review: The Tooth Fairy

Let me tell you guys about this HORRID movie my boyfriend made me watch! So on Sunday I went over to his house after he told me he wanted me to see this movie he has. I went over thinking it was going to be good by the way he described it. So I get there and within the first 5 minutes of this film I was already HIGHLY disappointed. So basically, back in the day this lady used to lure little kids to her home when they were about to lose their last baby tooth. She would tell them that she would trade them something that they really wanted for the tooth, but when they tried to give it to her she'd just kill them. NOW, let me stop right there for a second. The first scene of the movie just about shows you all of this and what made me disappointed the most was how the bitch was killing people with a toy Axe! YES, a toy Axe! I'm sure that's not what they wanted it to seem like, but that's what the fuck it was and what it looked like! So I'm sitting there laughing at the first fake ass murder seen with ketchup(I'm assuming) flying on the walls in unbelievable patterns and wondering why the hell the lady didn't sound like a lady. Like honestly, the bitch sounded like a drag queen that smoked a little too much. Anyway, the movie goes on to show this 12 year old girl named Pamela and her mom on their way to a Bed and Breakfast that her moms fiancé had just opened up. They get their and Pam starts searching around the place and soon becomes friends with a ghost of one of the kids the Tooth Fairy killed. She doesn't know the girl is a ghost tho. Pam gets into an accident and looses her last baby tooth and that's when the Tooth Fairy starts coming after her. I'm going to take a step back again. The mom's fiancé quit his job of being a lawyer to open up a bed and breakfast pretty much in the middle of nowhere... Now I don't know about guys, but if I go to school for 8+ years I am not quiting the job I get for ANYTHING. Even if that bed and breakfast was his "passion" why the hell would he open it in a place he isn't going to make any money at? And why was every woman in the movie a blonde? the only female in the movie that wasn't a blonde was Pamela.

Back to the movie, there was like 2 other people staying there(some blonde chick and some guy) that basically just wanted to fuck each other... Look I'm tired so I'm about to tell you how they kill the dumb bitch lol. The still her tooth box and burn her. It took them forever to kill her tho because I guess the fire wasn't doing enough so they had to spray more gasoline and burn her more. once she died all the little ghosts of the kids that she killed came and took their tooth and supposedly flew off into heaven. What I don't get is how the hell did the kids know what tooth was theirs? there were like 30 teeth in that damn box and they all just picked em up and assumed it was theirs. And while the Tooth Fairy was still burning she was running after Pam with that damn toy Axe. every time she swung it at her she missed which was really dumb, she could have just thrown it. The way the Tooth Fairy killed this one hippy lady was pretty awesome tho. I mean it looked so fake, but if it was executed better it would've been an interesting thing to see.

Basically everything about this movie was just awful. The acting, the characters, the stunts, the weapons, the plot.. it all sucked! I was so mad at him for making me watch this movie, but he said since he had to sit there and watch it so did I lol. I had never heard of this movie before Sunday, and now I know why. It was made sometime in 2006 and if you guys are interested in seeing it, you should see if you can find it anywhere. I wouldn't recommend it, but hey, do what you want lol.

Movie Review: Salt

You wanna know who Salt is? Salt is a bad bitch that you do NOT want to fuck with!!!! So I'm back to making my movie reviews as well and what better to start it off with than "Salt?" Just released Friday(July 23). I LOVED this movie! Just the type of action packed goodness that Angelina is PERFECT for. I knew that the part was meant for a guy, but I had no idea that it was actually meant for Tom Cruise! Angelina is a bad bitch if she can get roles to change to THAT degree!

Ok, so on to the movie. The movie opens up with an amazing scene that makes me love her all the more because she does NOT mind getting ugly in a movie. A lot of actresses won't even allow the make up people let them look messy when they're portraying a birthing scene. As the movie goes on you see her working for the C.I.A. until a certain "walk in", as they call them, comes and stirs up some shit(which you saw in the previews). She goes through a tough section of the movie trying to escape the cops and her fellow C.I.A. partners, still saying that she was framed. The stunts in this movie are AWESOME! Another reason that I love her is that she does a lot of her own stunts which I think is just marvelous. As the movie goes on you're like drawn into hopping she proves her innocents, but then you are thrown for a COMPLETE loop! AND LATER ANOTHER! This post maybe a bit all over the place, but that's because I'm trying my hardest not to tell you guys every detail about this movie like I really want to lol. I'm the type of person that will tell you everything!

I HIGHLY recommend this movie. Not only because the stunningly beautiful and amazing actress, Angelina Jolie, is in it, but because the entire plot of the movie is brilliant! make sure you're prepared to be VERY confused when you go see it because I was so confused at certain points, but in a good way. Not a "What the fuck are they talking about" way. Go see the movie NOW and find out who Salt really is!

Movie Review: Nightmare on Elm Street

OK, so i know i haven't been updating too often lately, but i have an excuse :)! School has taken my life away lol. I'm gonna try to get back to my blogging tho, starting with my movie review of Nightmare on Elm street.

This movie was AMAZING to me. I've heard a lot of people say that it sucked, but I thought it was bad ass! Although, i didn't like the new Freddy too much. the new Freddy, doesn't just look like a guy that was burned, he looks like an alien that was burned! And his voice is much deeper. While watching the movie i learned a lot that i didn't know about Freddy. I have seen some of the older movies, but i never knew that Freddy was a fucking pedophile! I always thought that the people of whatever town he lived in killed him for whatever reason, and to get back at them, he killed their kids in their dreams. It made me look at Freddy with a bit of disgust because of that little fact. ANYWAY, the bloody gore of this movie was about a 7 in my book. I love how he killed everyone, but i thought it could have been a lot more blood and guts flying around the place! the movie was a bit scary tho. it had me jumping back in my seat like he was trying to kill me lol. The acting was all good in this movie too. and the best part about it, is that THE ENDING WASN'T STUPID! i hate movies that get me all into them and then end on a stupid note. This movie didn't do that! I'm pretty sure you guys will LOVE the ending.

Now, i wanna take a little time to discuss this person that annoyed me in the theater. of all races he WOULD have to be black! OK, so the movie starts and everything is fine then this guy and girl come and sit behind me. About 5 mins into the movie i hear the guy behind me say "Bop". At first i paid it no mind because i was just confused at to why he said it. Then when the first scary scene came up his girlfriend jumped like the rest of the theater and he goes "ahhhha, what you jumpin for? that aint even scary". She told him to shut up talking to her and be quiet. then i hear him say "Bop" AGAIN! this time i'm thinking to myself "I hope he doesn't think that's cute!". After that, EVERY 5 mins he would say "Bop" and sometimes twice. along with that he was laughing at shit that was scary, presumably to show out in font of his girlfriend. after about 30 minutes of him interrupting me with his "Bop"-ing and constantly saying "This ain't even scary", I turn around and tell him to shut up. OBVIOUSLY, he didn't hear me because he continued to say "Bop" but more frequently. so this time i got up and told him "Could you please shut the fuck up while i'm trying to watch this movie?" he responds "Shut yo gay ass up". this effected me in no way because I know i'm gay and hide it from no one, so i tell him "Yes, i'm gay. and now that we have that out of the way, are you going to shut up or not?" he just kept saying lil stupid commints about me being gay and calling me a fag(real original) so i told him that his "Bop"-ing is NOT cute no matter what anyone has told him and if he didn't like the movie he could leave and stop annoying me. the i said "I don't know if you're showing out for your girlfriend or not, but if you really wanna seem manly by appearing to not be scarred in front of her, you can go to the front row where no one is and display your "manliness" ALONE!" I guess that struck a cord with him because that's when he got out of his seat, but at the same time one of the managers came up because someone had went to complain about him just before out altercation took place. they took him out and his girl friend and i was able to enjoy my movie! Isn't life grand?

Movie Review: Why Did I Get Married Too?

I saw this movie tonight and i swear to you that this is Tyler Perry's best movie BY FAR! i fuckin loved it! if you've seen the first, you have to see this on because Angela is back and crazier than ever. You know she was wild and crazy in the first, but i think she was worse in this movie(still funny tho). This movie sent me through so many emotions. I was happy one minute then i was sad then i was laughing then i was crying then i was in shock then i was pissed off lol. i was completely bipolar in that theater! and the ending was what got me the most. OMG i hate trying to explain this movie without giving away too much. I'm the type of person that is ALWAYS asking people to tell me what happened in the movie before i see it because idc, but if someone had told me ANY details of this movie i would have been so pissed at them lol. The movie portrays every kind of relationship and you are so drawn into the characters. especially if you've seen the first movie.

Janet Jackson's acting in this movie was PHENOMENAL. I've never considered her a bad actress, but i have never seen her this good. she has to win an award for this movie! if she doesn't I'm gonna stab a bitch lol. they sad that this movie was in the process of shooting when her brother Michael died. i believe that she used this movie to let some of her anger and frustration out.

I know some maybe tired of Tyler Perry's movies because they're all basically about the same thing, but CHIIIIIIIIIILE you have to see this one. if you see it and don't like it i will pay you however much you paid to see the movie... Not really, but just see the movie Dolls!!!

Movie Review: Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief

OK, so yesterday i saw "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief". I really liked the movie. idk if it's because I'm really into Greek Mythology and all that, or if the movie ACTUALLY was good lol. My mom liked it so i guess it was ok to more than just me. My friend tweeted me after I bought the tickets and said that the movie was boring, but i really didn't think so. the one thing that bugged me were the special effects. they weren't HORRIBLE, but they could've been much better. anyway, the movie was about the son of Poseidon(The God of the Sea), Percy Jackson. it showed his adventure of, first, finding out he was a Demi-God(half God and half human), then shortly after finding that out he had to find away to rescue his mom because Hades(Brother of Zeus and Poseidon and lord of the dead and the underworld) kidnapped her. i don't wanna say too much more in fear of giving away the movie, But overall i give it 6 1/2 - 7 out of 10. i enjoyed the movie, but there were things in the movie that bugged me. Like how Hades dog didn't have 3 heads, as it's supposed to. they just gave him 3 dogs(WTF). And for some reason they made Medusa act like she's blind. in the stories I've read, Medusa is NOT blind. lol idk i feel like i'm rambling because i doubt any of you know what I'm talkin about lol. anywho, i think the movie is good. Go see it!

My Movie Reviews

After reading my friends movie review on his blog, , i thought about how i used to post movie reviews as well. I actually don't know why i stopped, but after reading his review i thought about how much fun i had typing up mu thoughts on the movie after seeing it. I am DEFINITELY going to start doing that again. i wonder what my next movie review will be on... should I do it on "The Lovely Bones"? That's the most recent movie I've watched. idk, I just might do that. :)

Movie Review: The Fourth Kind

OMFG! "The Fourth Kind" was such a freaky movie. I couldn't believe that some of the footage was actually real. If you like documentaries, freaky movies or movies based off of true things, you're gonna love "The Fourth Kind". And what's really scary isn't the movie parts of it, which was actually a dramatization of what really happened. What was scary was the real footage. To think that really happen, is scary. it's a movie that will really have you thinking. And they tell you to believe what you want in the beginning and end of the movie. But I believe that if you have a brain you should be able to see that this movie is not fabricated. And if you're brain actually works, you should see that Aliens are REAL. You can believe, when people say shit like "It was a weather balloon" and other bullshit excuses like that, but none of the excuses sound legitimate enough when you actually think about the UFO sighting reports.

The movie was also sad. Because of how she was pretty much suffering AND getting blamed for like everything. You guys just need to see it.

Movie Review: Saw VI

Saw VI was a crazy ass fucking movie. I didn't like Saw V too much but this was what i needed form them to redeem themselves, in my eyes anyway lol. I don't wanna give too much away if anyone hasn't seen it yet but the movie starts off with just WAY too much. That black girl from that MTV (or VH1) show last year "Scream Queens" was in it. if you don't know what that show was about, I'll tell you. the show was basically a competition for these girls to see who would be in the next saw movie. this black girl won and ever since then I been waiting to see her ass in the movie. she was really good. ANYWAY back to the part she was in. she and this guy she worked with were trapped in this contraption and it would stick some screws in their head and kill who ever cut off the least amount of flesh. at that point me and my friend, Lynell, were cringing in our seats lol. the guy started cutting skin off of his stomach and the girl tried to cut her arm off but the knife wasn't doing it fast enough. the guy had already got two pieces of flesh into his little bucket when the timer got close to going off. so the girl got a machete and went to town on her damn arm. OMG I was going crazy in my seat. it was just too much. She eventually cut her entire arm off from her elbow down and beat the guy. he died and she was left without an arm, smh. it's things like that, that make me happy that man isn't real. I can not be living in fear of waking up in one of his contraptions. that's just not a good way to live. o.k that's all I'm gonna say because I don't wanna ruin the movie for anyone. I give the movie 4 out of 5 stars for gore of the movie. but over all I'd say it's about a 3 to a 3 1/2. but that's just my opinion. go and see it and make sure you're ready to be disgusted lol.
