Well apparently, Gay residents in Florida are getting ready for a court ruling on the state’s gay adoption ban that is expected to arrive on a Wednesday in the near future.
The U.S. court of appeals for the third circuit in Miami will rule on whether the gay adoption ban is constitutional. The case involves Martin Gill, a flight attendant who wants to adopt the two foster children he and his partner have been raising for the past five years.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the court releases its rulings on Wednesdays between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. on its website.
Florida is the only state with an outright gay adoption ban, which the Florida legislature passed in 1977. Same-sex couples are allowed to be foster parents.
The case is predicted to reach the Florida supreme court no matter how the appeals court rules.
I don't understand why this is such a problem! are people afraid that gay people wont teach their kids to hate and to understand that everyone is different? they can't think that kids will be turned gay because of having gay parents because that is the most untrue thing in the world. If your sexual orientation was based on the that of your parents, damn near NO ONE would be gay. i know for one that i wouldn't be. ugh, I'm getting annoyed with these dumb asses!
